[s4e26] Will Things Ever Be The Same Again? 〈Desktop〉

The goal isn't to get back to the start of Season 1; it's to see what Season 5 looks like with the lessons of Season 4.

We often ask if things will be the same again when we are in the middle of a "Messy Middle." This is the period after a major disruption where the old rules don't apply, but the new ones haven't been written yet.

Take stock of whether you are operating out of fear/anxiety or growth/passion [as recommended by performance coaches ].

"Will things ever be the same again?" is the wrong question. The right one is: "Now that things are different, who am I going to be?" The "same" is a static state, and life, much like a long-running series, only stays interesting when it moves forward.

It’s okay to mourn the "way things were."

If you are looking at this from a perspective of personal or career change, staying motivated during these shifts is about finding "glimmers" of utility in the mundane [as noted by experts on career alignment ].
