: Upon returning from space, Steven listens to Connie's recount of her time in Beach City. While the main team was gone, Connie, Peridot, and Lapis formed a temporary squad known as the "Crystal Temps" to protect the city and manage Greg’s car wash. The temporary team tried to emulate the personalities and roles of the original Crystal Gems, leading to various comedic conflicts:
