Since you have .part2.rar , you definitely have a .part1.rar (or similar) that needs to be combined.

Open the emulator, go to File > Add Game Directory , and select the folder where your new .xci file is. Since you have .part2.rar
Place ...part1.rar , ...part2.rar , etc., into the same folder .
