If you are using this specific older version, be aware of the following changes implemented in this patch:
: Ensure you have every part of the set (part1, part2, etc.) in the same folder on your computer. If any part is missing or in a different location, the extraction will fail with a "missing volume" error.
: If prompted, enter the password provided by your download source. Note that incorrect passwords may still result in a folder being created, but the game files inside will be corrupted and unusable.
: Right-click on Phasmophobia.v0.3.1.2.part1.rar and select "Extract Here" or "Extract to Phasmophobia..." using software like WinRAR or 7-Zip .
: DOTS projectors and glowsticks no longer affect sanity drain.
: Fixed a bug where players could point lights at ceilings to stop sanity from draining.
