The early game was... humbling. Dashing through a horde of Medusas with a T0 Rusty Katana is a great way to remind yourself why Kensei has a high skill floor. The immunity on dash is great, but until you get a feel for the charge-up and distance, you’re just as likely to dash into a shotgun as you are to dodge one. Phase 2: Finding My Rhythm
Things started to click once I hit Level 20. The Kensei’s mobility is rivaled only by the Trickster, making it one of the best classes for rushing dungeons once you master the "flee/go through" mechanic.
The Kensei is a unique beast. Introduced as a high-skill katana class, it sits in that weird sweet spot between a melee tank and a high-speed glass cannon.
