The series follows the duo as they travel to various glamorous international destinations (such as Ibiza, Miami, London, Dubai, and Los Angeles) with the goal of living a "luxury" lifestyle without spending a single cent of their own money. The title is a portmanteau of the Italian words emigrati (emigrants) and gratis (for free).
