: Most Hirschmann receivers allow you to "Dump" or backup your current channel list to USB before updating. It is highly recommended to do this first.
: Plug the USB drive into the USB port of your Hirschmann 1000 receiver. Navigate Menu : Press the Menu button on your remote.
: Look for a section labeled Setting , Tools , or Upgrade .
: Choose "USB Upgrade" or "Software Upgrade."
