After the cave battle, Guts is ambushed on a narrow cliffside by Serpico . Serpico uses the treacherous terrain and the setting sun to his advantage, nearly overwhelming Guts with his agility and tactical speed. Guts eventually forces a retreat by using his iron prosthetic arm to shatter Serpico’s sword.
